Quality Process - Our process for Aqua/Vapor blasting engine parts in cambridgeshire

OUR QUALITY PROCESS at aqua blast uk

  1. Talk over the project with customer describing our plan and his expectations.
  2. Components arrive.
  3. Checked for quantity and quality and that they match the project discussed.
  4. Visually assess the components looking for cracks, breaks and any other potential weaknesses that the customer may not have spotted.
  5. Note these items and inform the customer before going ahead.
  6. Ensure the substrate is as discussed with the customer.
  7. Photograph the components as a "before" record.
  8. Prepare the component. (Blank/Plug holes, remove studs, bearings etc if required)
  9. Test a small area with the aquablast to ensure compatibility and expected outcome.
  10. Where the outcome/project may vary discuss with customer.
  11. Once we are happy then the component/batch is processed.
  12. Each item of a batch is individually inspected to ensure continuity of result.
  13. Final inspection of finished batch.
  14. Final photograph as the "after" for our records.
  15. Quality signed off by our resident Quality manager.
  16. Arrange return/pick up of components.
